ABOUT THE RIDE
Over 30 years and still rolling, 2026 marks the 41st annual Sizzling ride! Setting out from Kokomo, multiple bike event routes (approximately 40, 60 & 80 mile routes) are available including a 100-mile century bicycle tour. Taking advantage of the best road conditions for the year, the road cycling routes cover gently rolling Indiana “hills” along lightly traveled roads and wooded creeks, between farmland, and through some of the small towns of Howard County, Indiana.
All cyclists are encouraged to post pictures before and after their rides on social media! Make them public and include #BABCrides
RIDE DAY SCHEDULE
Registration AND Check-in from 7:00-7:50am (all riders must check-in at this time, even if pre-registered!)
Mass start at 8am
Course Closes at 5pm
ROUTES
All routes offer full-service SAG stops featuring great food, homemade treats, and drinks. Experienced roving SAG vehicle provides basic bike mechanical support.

ROUTE IS *CLEAR*!
No updates/changes to route, everything looked great when we drove it this afternoon.
Some debris! Watch out for random debris and remnants of people who tried to frantically mow their lawns before the rain hit – and left PILES of grass clippings in the road!
The only issue we have: BATHROOMS in Burlington Park are CLOSED for remodeling. Closest public bathrooms are at the Marathon station about ½ mile through the park to 29(this is *JUST* off the route for 60/80/100 routes, but out of the way for anyone doing 40 miles. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Online Registration from 8/1 - 8/13 is $45
Day of event registration can include cash, check, credit or debit cards and is $55
Mail-In registration MUST be postmarked by 7/31/2026
All registrants will receive a beverage ticket and Custom Swag!
